The strikingly recessed endpiece design draws inspiration from the distinctive motifs of American eyewear from the 1950s. This model follows the traditional “Ato-Mekki” (post-plating) technique first introduced in the 2024 Autumn/Winter model “360”. Through the unique technique that the acetate front and temples are carefully polished together with the metal hinges, and after the joints are neatly aligned, the hinges are plated at low temperatures, a beautiful and sharp-edged design is created. The sunglasses use the original “EYEVAN curve lens”, a Japanese-made glass lens that is made by mixing metal particles and other ingredients to create the color, then melting it and molding each lens individually.
