This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made through Beseen.store. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any mandatory consumer rights available to you under applicable law.
European Union (EU) – Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union and purchase goods from us online, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days without giving any reason, unless one of the statutory exceptions described below applies.
The withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receive the goods.
Where multiple goods ordered in a single order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receive the last item.
Where goods are delivered in several lots or pieces, the withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receive the last lot or piece.
How to Exercise Your EU Right of Withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision before the applicable withdrawal period expires.
You can do this electronically using our dedicated “Withdraw from Contract Here” function, which is accessible through the footer of our website and remains available throughout the withdrawal period.
After completing the online withdrawal declaration and selecting “Confirm withdrawal”, you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt by email without undue delay. This acknowledgement includes the content of your declaration and the date and time on which it was submitted.
You may also exercise your right of withdrawal by sending us a clear statement of your decision to withdraw by email at info@beseen.store, or by using the Model Withdrawal / Cancellation Form provided at the end of this policy. Use of the model form is not mandatory.
It is sufficient that you submit or send your withdrawal declaration before the 14-day withdrawal period expires.
Returning the Goods Following an EU Withdrawal
After informing us of your decision to withdraw, you must send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days from the date on which you notified us of your withdrawal.
The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day return period has expired.

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to us, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise or applicable mandatory law provides otherwise.
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and retaining proof of postage until your return and refund have been completed.
Condition of Returned Goods
You may inspect and handle the goods only to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality, in the same way that you would reasonably be able to inspect them in a physical store.
You may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for this purpose.
Where reasonably possible, please return the goods with their original packaging, accessories, documentation and any tags or stickers supplied with them.
Removal of packaging, tags or stickers does not by itself automatically remove a statutory right of withdrawal. However, any resulting reduction in the value of the goods may be taken into account where permitted by applicable law.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply where an applicable legal exception exists. These exceptions may include, in particular:
- Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, including custom-made prescription lenses where the statutory exception applies.
- Sealed goods which, for genuine health-protection or hygiene reasons, are not suitable for return once the relevant seal has been broken after delivery. This applies in particular to sealed contact lenses.
These exceptions do not affect any statutory rights you may have where goods are defective, damaged, incorrect or otherwise not in conformity with the contract.
Refunds Following an EU Withdrawal
If you validly exercise your right of withdrawal, we will reimburse all payments received from you in connection with the withdrawn purchase, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered by us.
If you selected a more expensive delivery method than our least expensive standard delivery option, the additional delivery cost is not refundable.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and, subject to our right to withhold reimbursement as described below, no later than 14 calendar days from the date on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
Unless we have offered to collect the goods ourselves, we may withhold reimbursement until:
- we have received the goods back; or
- you provide evidence that you have sent the goods back,
whichever occurs first.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction. You will not be charged a fee by us for the reimbursement.
After a refund has been issued by us, your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time before the funds appear in your account.
European Economic Area (EEA)
Consumers in Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein may have statutory withdrawal and cancellation rights for distance contracts under the consumer-protection rules applicable in those countries. Where such rights apply, they remain fully unaffected by this policy.
The “Withdraw from Contract Here” online function may also be used as a convenient way to communicate a withdrawal request to us. Its availability does not itself determine the existence, duration or scope of any statutory right under EEA or national law.
United Kingdom
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom and purchase goods from us online, you generally have a statutory right to cancel your purchase within 14 days after the day on which you receive the goods, subject to the exceptions provided by applicable UK consumer law.
Where this statutory cancellation right applies, you must notify us of your decision to cancel within the applicable cancellation period. After notifying us, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which you informed us of your decision to cancel, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
You may notify us of your cancellation by sending a clear statement to info@beseen.store, by using the Model Withdrawal / Cancellation Form below, or through our “Withdraw from Contract Here” online function.
UK Return Costs
Unless we have expressly agreed otherwise or applicable mandatory law requires otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods from the United Kingdom to us in Greece.
You are also responsible for arranging the return shipment correctly and for any shipping, customs-clearance or similar charges arising from the return shipment that are legally payable by you.
When returning goods from the United Kingdom, please ensure that the shipment is correctly identified to the carrier and the customs authorities as “returned goods / returned merchandise”, and include the original order or invoice details where requested. Please also follow any return and customs instructions provided by us or by the carrier before dispatching the goods.
Goods returned to us may qualify for customs relief when re-imported into the European Union, provided that the applicable customs requirements are met and the return is correctly declared.
If customs, clearance or similar charges are incurred by Beseen Optics because a customer-initiated return has been incorrectly or incompletely declared despite the return instructions provided, we reserve the right to seek recovery of those documented charges or, where legally permitted, to deduct them from amounts otherwise payable to you. Any such recovery or deduction will only be made to the extent permitted by applicable mandatory law.
Nothing in this section affects any mandatory consumer rights available to you under UK law.
UK Refunds
Where a statutory UK cancellation right applies, we will reimburse the payments received from you as required by applicable UK consumer law, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered by us where required.
Reimbursement will be made without undue delay and within the time limits set by applicable UK consumer law. For sales of goods, reimbursement may be withheld until we have received the goods back or you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first, where permitted by applicable law.
Any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods may be taken into account where permitted under UK consumer law.
The exceptions relating to personalised goods and sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for genuine health-protection or hygiene reasons also apply where provided by UK law.
Other International Orders
For orders delivered outside the European Union, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, Beseen Optics does not offer a voluntary change-of-mind return right unless otherwise expressly stated at the time of purchase.
This does not limit or exclude any mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, return, refund, warranty or other consumer rights that may apply under the law applicable to your purchase. Where a mandatory right applies, that right will prevail over this policy.
If a return from such a country is accepted by us or required by applicable law, you are responsible for following the return and customs instructions provided to you, and the shipment must be correctly declared as returned goods.
Unless applicable mandatory law requires otherwise, any direct return shipping costs and any customs-clearance or similar costs legally payable by the customer in connection with such a return are the customer’s responsibility.
Where permitted by applicable law, any documented customs or clearance charges incurred by Beseen Optics because such a return was incorrectly or incompletely declared may be recovered from the customer.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, incorrect or otherwise not in conformity with your order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@beseen.store so that we can review the issue and provide the appropriate solution.
Your statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods are separate from, and are not affected by, any right of withdrawal or cancellation described above.
